Lionel Benatia

Lionel Benatia is Senior Director of Government Affairs at Microsoft France. He has over twenty years of experience in public affairs, strategic communication, and supporting technology companies in their dialogue with public authorities.

Before joining Microsoft, Lionel led AWS's public policy in France, where he managed institutional relations and helped structure the positioning of the cloud in the national debate, particularly in a context of rising digital sovereignty issues.

He also held senior positions at BlaBlaCar and worked in consulting firms, notably at FTI Consulting, Vae Solis Corporate, and Burson-Marsteller. Throughout his career, he advised major international companies and represented their interests to French and European decision-makers.
